I started out match fishing, winning the Ringwood youth match series on a number of occasions in the early 90's. I then moved on to carp fishing, catching various carp over 30lb, including a 30lb 10oz mirror on a floater! After that, i decided to specimen fish for different species and have also bought a boat to fish for Cod, Bass, Ray and Conger. Other Highlights have included a huge 8.04 chub, 12.03 Barbel, 9.01 Tench, 3.01 Perch, 1.01 dace, 2.09 Roach, lots of big carp from both lakes and rivers aswel as big pike and Bream. A 8lb 2oz Mullet from a local harbour was also a highlite! Another highlite was winning my section during a qualifyer at the very first Fish o Mania comp on the Basingstoke Canal at only 14 years old, and whooping Mark Pollard from the next peg in the process!
